Bethesda, MD –   If the victims were only armed this horrific crime could have been stopped. Two men wearing masks and gloves entered an upscale yoga clothing store in downtown Bethesda after closing hours this weekend, killed a worker and sexually assaulted another, officials said Saturday.

Detectives think the attack began as a robbery about 10 p.m. Friday along the high-end Bethesda Row shopping district. The assault victim, who is expected to survive, was found bound in the back of the store Saturday morning. She was hospitalized and has been talking with detectives.

Bethesda, MD – The victims were unarmed and unable to defend themselves. A quiet Bethesda community is trying to come to grips with a shocking home invasion and carjacking. Police responded shortly before two this afternoon to a house on Farnham Drive.

They say a woman, who had walked to the curb to take out trash, was forced back into her home. There were two suspects. One of them was armed and demanded her husband's wallet and keys to the family's Cadillac Escalade. The men fled in the vehicle, which was recovered a short time later, abandoned near the Sun Trust Bank at the Wildwood Shopping Center.
