Bristol, CT - Criminals always try and choose a weaker or unarmed victim, usually a woman. A 20-year-old woman was threatened during a home invasion in Bristol. Police say around 9:50 PM, the victim had just emptied out her trash outside her apartment on Shawn Drive when a man prevented her from closing her door and forced his way inside.  

The man threatened her with the gun he was wielding. The suspect wasn’t able to make off with anything before leaving through a rear door to the apartment. 

Bristol, CT - Another very violent home invasion in the city of unarmed victims, if only they had a gun for self-defense. Police say a group of men entered an apartment early this morning and robbed one of the residents. The incident occurred at midnight.

The victim was robbed and beaten with a blunt object while another resident locked himself in a bathroom and called police. The victim was treated for his injuries. He was treated for lacerations and a broken arm. Police say the suspects demanded money and fled once the residents gave it to them.
