Brockton, MA – A teenage girl says she didn’t make a sound while standing in her bedroom closet when a armed robber walked into the room. The robber, wearing a black ski mask and holding a gun, then placed his hand into the dark closet to feel around, his hand hovering inches from her face. She didn’t move. Moments earlier, the girl had called 911 from the closet, saying that two armed men had just barged into her Claremont Avenue.

One of the men had struck her brother in the head with his gun. He tied her brother up. Then he placed a knife to her grandmother’s throat. “Shut up!” the men shouted to her grandmother, who began crying as she prayed out loud, the girl said. The family had no gun to protect themselves!
