Burlington, NC, A victim of a shooting Thursday told police two people broke into his apartment and began shooting at him and another man inside, according to a news release from Burlington police. The man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and the second victim, a 51-year-old man, suffered gunshot wounds to his upper and lower extremities and was in stable condition, police said. 

Burlington, NC,   Police Department responded to the 400 block of Logan St. in reference to a home invasion style robbery. The victim who was unarmed, answered a knock at his door and was met by three unknown black males that forced their way into the residence.

One of the suspects was armed with a stun gun and attempted to use it on the victim. During the struggle the victim was knocked to the floor and held there while a second suspect stole the victim’s money and personal belongings.
