Casa Grande AZ - A clerk used a stun gun to stop a 13-year-old from escaping during a robbery last weekend.

Tim Gaffney with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office stated that deputies responded to the Skyline Market at 5650 E. Skyline Market Road in response to a robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned that the clerk had detained a 13-year-old who tried to steal two 18-packs of beer with an 18-year-old man.  

The 13-year-old got into a physical confrontation with the clerk who told deputies he feared for his safety, and used a stun gun to detain him.  

CASA GRANDE  AZ –– A 41-year-old man was arrested and jailed early Wednesday morning after a shooting incident at his home, which included a Pinal County Sheriff’s deputy firing two shots toward the man.

One bullet clipped his ear.  Scott McCreery, who lives on West Desert Mountain Drive near Casa Grande, remained in jail, accused of aggravated assault, aggravated assault involving a gun and aggravated assault on a police officer.
