Cedar Rapids, IA – Violent Bank Robberies continue in the city, are you a concealed carry permit holder? Two brother suspects are accused of committing three robberies, one at the Edgewood Road branch of US Bank and two at the Guaranty Bank, on June 25 and July 7.

One brother is accused of assisting his brother during the April 28 and July 7 robberies “by purchasing items used in the robberies and/or driving the escape vehicle,” according to a criminal complaint. In the instances of the June 25 and July 7 robberies, the men face multiple counts because there were multiple bank employees threatened.

Cedar Rapids, IA – Another violent home invasion, the victims were unarmed and could not defend themselves… A Cedar Rapids man told police he woke up to find an armed man in the doorway of his bedroom. Officers rushed to a burglary in progress around 1 a.m. but were unable to find the two suspects involved. No one was injured in the incident.

The victim reported that he woke up to a loud noise and was confronted by a man with a handgun who told him to be quiet or he would shoot him.
