Columbia, MO –  Crime is escalating in the city, when it strikes will you be ready to defend your life? The Columbia Police Department said Saturday it's investigating a robbery at a local credit union. Columbia police said officers were dispatched Saturday morning to a robbery in progress at the Missouri Credit Union located at 3401 Buttonwood Drive.


Columbia, MO –  Women need to be armed for self-defense, don’t be a victim!, Columbia Police officers arrested two men Saturday in connection to an armed robbery at a Columbia apartment complex. Officers said the suspect entered an apartment bedroom on South Old Highway 63.

The address is for The Reserve apartment complex. Officers said the suspect entered around 3:30 a.m. with a gun, demanded a cell phone from the woman living there and left.

Columbia Police officers arrested the19-year-old suspect at his home on Antelope Drive for first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
