CONCORD, N.C., Police on Thursday arrested one of three men they say robbed a woman during a home invasion in Concord earlier this month. Philip Damon Smith Jr., 24, of 27 Cascade Drive NW, Concord, was arrested on charges of armed robbery and first degree burglary. He was placed in the Cabarrus County Jail under a total $36,000 secured bond. Police say on May 10 at about 9:10 p.m., three males entered a residence on Young Avenue SW in Concord and attacked a 41-year-old woman who lived there, according to a Concord Police Department incident report.
