Danbury, CT – Another violent home invasion with a woman victim. All home owners need to be armed for self-defense. An 85-year-old Danbury woman suffered a broken hip and cuts and bruises when police say she was pulled from her bed and assaulted in a home invasion.

The victim woman screamed loudly enough to draw the attention of neighbors who tried to intervene in the incident. Police said the suspect waved a gun at neighbors who tried to intervene and that he pulled the woman into the hallway and shoved her against the walls.

Danbury, CT – Violent home invasions are on the rise in the city, homeowners need to think about having a gun to protect themselves and their family. Police said they arrested one man and are looking for another after a home invasion. Police said that around 10:30 p.m., two suspects entered a home at the Crossroads and demanded money from the male resident, who was inside with his girlfriend.

The men demanded money from the resident before a struggle between them ensued. During the struggle the victim suffered from several stabbing-type lacerations to his back. The two suspects fled the home.
