Frederick, MD - What if the victim had been armed? A county deputy, a city police officer and a state trooper all suffered minor injuries early Thursday as they chased several suspects in the armed robbery and kidnapping of a Frederick man.
Najee Edward Dawson, 20, Darryl Lee Cooke Jr., 18, Jerrell Isaiah Smith, 18, and Tayquan Cornell Palmer, 18, all of Frederick, face charges of robbery, kidnapping and first-degree assault. Hailee Lynn Baker, 20, of Frederick, was charged with fleeing and eluding authorities, and related traffic charges. Palmer was arrested late Friday, police said.
