 Gloucester Township firearm ordinance is part states; A. No person shall, within the territorial limits of the Township of Gloucester, hunt, attempt to hunt or discharge firearms of any type including rifles, shotguns, pistols, air guns and BB guns, at any time.  

B. No person shall discharge any firearm upon or across any State, County or Township road or highway.  C. No person except the owner or lessee of the property persons specifically authorized by him in writing shall hunt, discharge or have in his possession a loaded gun while within One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) feet of any occupied dwelling.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. An off-duty police officer in southern New Jersey suffered a minor injury after his pistol fired while he was unloading it early Sunday morning.

Gloucester Township police said the incident occurred at the officer’s home on Bromley Drive just before 3 a.m. The officer, whose name was not disclosed, suffered a minor hand wound. Authorities said the officer serves on the Gloucester force and the weapon involved was a pistol that he owns.. Apparently the officer needs some remedial firearms training…..safety, trigger control?
