Hattiesburg, MS – Violent crime can happen at any time, be armed, be prepared for street crime. Officers were dispatched to a Hattiesburg residence in reference to an armed robbery that had occurred at Red Lobster.

Upon arrival, HPD met with the victims who advised they were walking home from a convenience store when three black male suspects jumped out from behind a van parked in the parking lot.

One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victims.  The victims gave their money to the suspects who fled on foot toward Oak Grove Rd behind a building.


Hattiesburg, MS – Another robbery reported of unarmed victims. The robbery took place Friday night on Eunetta Street and the suspects took off in a stolen vehicle.

They were involved in a hit and run accident near 38th Avenue while being chased by the Hattiesburg Police. Lamar County Deputies joined in the chase on Lincoln Road and the vehicle was finally stopped near Old Highway 11.

Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene. A third suspect fled on foot who later turned himself in to police Sunday morning.
