Racine, WI – A would-be robber was shot during home invasion. The robber was shot during a home invasion on Racine's South side.  Sgt. Jesse Metoyer said officers were called to the 3200 block of Victory Avenue just before 2 a.m. on a report that someone had been shot.  

At the same time, dispatchers also received a call from the 3200 block of 17th Street for a home invasion, where the victim said he had fired shots at the robber. A prefect case where a citizen armed with a gun protected his home and family from a Felon!

Racine man charged after threatening neighbor with a gun, Shane Stilo, 34, of Racine, has been charged with Adjudged Delinquent Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Bail Jumping-Felony, Operating a Firearm While Intoxicated, Intentionally Pointing of a Firearm At Person and Disorderly conduct, this after allegedly pointing a gun at his neighbors.

He is being held on $5,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance in Racine Circuit Court. If convicted, he faces up to 23-1/2 years in jail and/or up to $70,000 in fines.
